A generator for room perspective reference — the under-drawing artists use to build interior backgrounds. Switch between 1-point and 2-point perspective and the room assembles as a box seen from the inside. In 1-point, the canvas edge is the near opening and a scaled-down back wall sits inside it, with the four corner edges converging on a single vanishing point. In 2-point, a vertical corner line faces you and the left and right walls open out toward two vanishing points on the horizon. The eye level (horizon) is always drawn as a dashed line, so raising or lowering it instantly changes a looking-up view into a looking-down one. Depth lines are not spaced evenly across the image: they are placed so they represent equal distances in real space, crowding correctly as they recede, which means you can use them to measure floor tiles, wall panels, and where furniture and windows should sit. Floor, walls and ceiling can each be toggled on or off, and you can set the number of depth lines and divisions, the line color and width, the background (white or transparent) and the output size — 1280×720, A4 portrait/landscape, 1024×1024, 1920×1080, or any custom width and height. FAQ

How do I draw a room in one-point perspective?

Draw one eye-level line, put a single vanishing point on it, draw the rectangle that will be the back wall of the room, then connect the back wall's four corners to the four corners of your frame — that's the room box. This tool does exactly those steps with sliders, rebuilding the box live as you move the vanishing point and the depth. From there, use the floor and wall grids to place windows, shelves and desks.

When should I use 1-point vs 2-point?

Use 1-point when a wall faces you square-on and depth runs in a single direction (a room seen head-on, a corridor). Use 2-point when a corner of the room faces you and both walls recede. In 2-point, a wider VP spread gives a natural, wide-angle feel and a narrow one gives a dramatic, strong perspective.

How is this different from the Perspective Grid Generator?

The Perspective Grid Generator draws generic guide lines radiating from vanishing points, usable for any subject. This one builds a room box — floor, walls, ceiling and a back wall or corner — so you start from a scene that already has a defined depth. Use this for interior backgrounds and the grid generator when you want an unconstrained under-layer.

Can it turn a floor plan into perspective, or generate a room with AI?

No to both. It does not read floor plan images and there is no AI generation — every line is computed geometrically from the eye level, vanishing points and depth you choose. Furniture and windows are not drawn for you; the grid is there so you can place and draw them accurately yourself.

Is anything I make uploaded to a server?

No. Building the drawing, printing and exporting the SVG or PNG all happen entirely in your browser. Nothing is uploaded, stored or sent anywhere, and there is no external API. Only your settings (vanishing point position and so on) are kept on this device so you can pick up where you left off.

Can I layer it over Clip Studio or Procreate?

Yes. Set the background to transparent and save a PNG, then drop it on the bottom layer in Clip Studio Paint, Procreate, Photoshop or ibisPaint and trace on top. Save SVG instead if you want to scale it up without the lines going soft. You can also print it as a paper under-drawing.
