A free graph paper generator that builds printable grid paper right in your browser. Choose from five grid types — square (graph), dot grid, lined, isometric and hexagon — and set the cell spacing in exact millimeters (e.g. 2mm, 5mm, 10mm). Pick the paper size (A4, A5, B5 or Letter) and orientation, and adjust the margin, line color and line weight. For square grids you can add a bold line every N cells (for example a heavier line every 1 cm) to make the grid easier to read. The preview is drawn as an SVG at the paper's true physical size in millimeters, so pressing Print outputs it at exactly the right scale — use your printer's "Save as PDF" to keep it as a PDF, or download directly as SVG or PNG. Everything runs locally; your settings and output are never uploaded.

How to use

  1. Choose the grid type (square, dot, lined, isometric or hexagon).
  2. Set the paper, orientation, spacing (mm), margin, line color and weight (and bold lines for square grids).
  3. Press Print to print (or save as PDF), or use Download SVG / PNG.

FAQ

Can I make graph paper with an exact mm spacing like 2mm or 5mm?

Yes. Enter the spacing in millimeters and the cells are drawn at that size. The preview is an SVG at the paper's true physical size, so when printed it comes out at the exact spacing — just set your printer to "Actual size" / 100%.

Can I get an A4 PDF and print it?

Yes. Pick A4 (A5, B5 and Letter are also available) and the orientation, then press Print — it prints at that paper size with no extra margins. Choose "Save as PDF" as the printer to keep it as a PDF file. You can also download the sheet directly as SVG or PNG.

Does it support dot grid, isometric and hex paper too?

Yes. The grid type selector includes Dots, Isometric and Hexagon. Isometric is handy for 3D / isometric sketching, and hexagon paper is great for homemade board-game maps. Lined gives a notebook-style sheet with horizontal lines only.

Can I add a darker line every 1 cm?

For square grids, enable "bold line every N cells" to draw a heavier line at that interval. For example, a 5mm grid with a bold line every 5 cells puts a darker line every 1 cm, making the scale easier to read.

Is the graph paper uploaded anywhere?

No. Generating and saving happen entirely in your browser, and nothing is sent to a server. Only your chosen settings are stored on your device for next time, and Reset clears them.
