FAQ
Is my video uploaded?
No. Loading, extracting and exporting all happen inside your browser on your device — nothing is sent to or stored on a server, so meeting recordings and personal footage stay private. Leaving the page discards any in-progress data.
MP3, WAV or M4A — which should I pick?
MP3 (192 kbps is standard) to listen on a phone or share. WAV for editing or transcription when you don't want any loss (large files). If the video is MP4/MOV with AAC audio, M4A copies it without re-encoding — instant and identical to the original.
Does removing the audio lower the video quality?
No. Remove audio copies the video stream without re-encoding and only drops the audio track, so quality is untouched and it finishes in seconds. Output is WebM if the source is WebM/MKV, otherwise MP4.
Can I extract only part of the audio?
This page extracts the whole track. To pick a range, either cut the video first with the Video Trim tool, or trim the exported MP3/WAV afterwards with the Audio Trim tool — both run in the browser too.
It says the video has no audio track.
That video contains no audio (a screen recording or time-lapse, for example), so there is nothing to extract.
Which formats and browsers are supported?
