Education & work history

Leave year/month blank for a section header row (e.g. “Education”, “Work”).

Licenses & qualifications

Make a Japanese resume (rirekisho) entirely in your browser, then print it or save it as PDF — for anyone who needs a free template with no sign-up and no Word or Excel file to hunt for, whether for a new-graduate, mid-career or part-time application. Enter your name and its furigana reading, date of birth, address, phone and email, and an A4 resume close to the JIS / Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare (MHLW) format is previewed for you. Entering the date of birth automatically renders the date in the Japanese era calendar (e.g. Heisei 12) and computes your current age. The education and work history table grows as you add rows; leave the year and month blank on a row to turn it into a centered section header such as "Education", "Work" or "End", just like a real rirekisho. There are matching sections for licenses and qualifications, reasons for applying and self-PR, and personal requests. Your ID photo, chosen with "Choose photo", is fitted into the 30×40mm photo box for preview and printing — but the photo, like everything you enter, is never uploaded or stored; all reading and layout happens on your device. Click "Print / Save PDF" to open the print dialog at A4 actual size, then print or choose "Save as PDF". The gender row and personal-requests box can be hidden when unused, and you can pick an accent color for the title and section headers. No install, no account, and no template to hunt for. A separate tool makes the work-history sheet (shokumu-keirekisho), and a personal seal image and an addressed envelope can be made with the matching tools.

How to use

  1. Enter your name and furigana, date of birth, address, phone and email (the era date and current age fill in automatically).
  2. Use "Add row" for education/work history and qualifications (leave year/month blank for a header row), write your reasons for applying and requests, and optionally fit an ID photo with "Choose photo" (kept on your device).
  3. Click "Print / Save PDF" to open the A4 actual-size print dialog, then print or choose "Save as PDF".

FAQ

What format is the resume? JIS or MHLW?

It follows the common Japanese rirekisho layout close to the JIS standard and the format example published by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare (MHLW) from 2021: name and furigana, date of birth, address and contact, education/work history, licenses, reasons for applying and a personal-requests box. It suits new-graduate, mid-career and part-time applications, and the gender row and requests box can be hidden when unused.

Can I add an ID photo? Is it uploaded?

Choose an image with "Choose photo" and it is fitted into the 30×40mm photo box for preview and printing. The photo is read and laid out entirely in your browser and is never uploaded or stored. You can also leave the box empty to print just the frame and glue on a real photo afterward.

Does it show the Japanese era date and my age?

Yes. Entering your date of birth renders it in the Japanese era calendar (Showa, Heisei, Reiwa, etc.) and shows your current age next to it. The date written is also shown in the era calendar.

Do I need to sign up or install anything, and is my data stored?

No. There is no account and no software to install, and no Word or Excel template to hunt for. Your name, address, photo and other entries are never uploaded or stored — only the gender-row and requests-box visibility and the accent color are remembered on this device.
