A maker for the wallpaper you set on your phone's home or lock screen. The key feature is that the output is sized to your device's exact pixel resolution. Choose a preset — iPhone 15/16 (1179×2556), iPhone 16 Pro (1206×2622), iPhone SE (750×1334), Pixel 8 (1080×2400), Galaxy S24 (1080×2340), Android FHD (1080×1920) or QHD (1440×3120) — and the canvas is built at that device's portrait true size, so the wallpaper isn't stretched, zoomed or letterboxed when you set it. The background can be a solid color, a two-color gradient (vertical, diagonal or horizontal), or a photo you add that fills the frame (cover). You can optionally place a line of text (heading) and a smaller subtext, set the position (top, center, bottom), alignment and font (sans or serif), pick a text color, and add an outline so it stays readable over a photo. Turn on the safe-area guide to see the top band where the clock and date sit and the bottom band where the home indicator / buttons overlap, so you can keep important subjects and text clear (the guide is not included in the exported PNG). Press Save PNG to export to your device and set it as a wallpaper from your photos app. Your photo and text are never sent to a server — everything runs in your browser (only settings like device, background, colors and position are stored on your device for next time and can be cleared with Reset).
How to use
- Pick your phone under "device size" so the canvas matches its true resolution.
- Choose a solid, gradient or photo background, then optionally add text and set position, color and outline.
- Check the safe area around the clock, then press Save PNG to export at true size and set it on your phone.
FAQ
Will this stop my wallpaper from being stretched or zoomed?
Yes — that's the main point of this tool. When you pick your phone under "device size", the canvas is built at that device's exact pixel resolution (e.g. iPhone 15/16 is 1179×2556px). Because it exports at true size, the result is far less likely to be stretched, zoomed in or letterboxed when you set it.
Which devices are supported?
Presets cover iPhone 15/16, iPhone 16 Pro, iPhone SE, Pixel 8, Galaxy S24, Android FHD (1080×1920) and QHD (1440×3120). Any other phone with the same resolution works with the matching preset.
Can I use my own photo?
Yes. Set the background to "photo" and use Add photo (drop or paste also works) to pick an image; it fills the selected device size (cover). You can also build a solid color or a two-color gradient background (with a choice of direction).
What is the safe area guide?
On the lock screen the clock and date sit near the top and the home indicator / buttons overlap the bottom. Turning on the safe-area guide shows those bands so you can keep important subjects and text out of the way. The guide is not included in the exported PNG.
Is my photo or text uploaded?
No. Your photo and text are never sent to a server — everything is processed inside your browser, and the exported PNG is saved only to your device. Only settings like device, background, colors and position are stored locally for next time and can be cleared with Reset.
