Crop any image to the recommended size for social profiles, headers (banners), thumbnails and posts on X (Twitter), YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and Discord. Pick a preset and a crop frame of the right aspect ratio appears — drag it to reposition and use zoom to fit your subject. The download is the exact preset pixel size (e.g. X header 1500×500, YouTube thumbnail 1280×720). Nothing is uploaded — every step runs locally on the canvas.
How to use
- Drop an image in, click to choose, or paste (Ctrl/Cmd + V).
- Pick a preset (X icon / header, YouTube thumbnail, Instagram, etc.).
- Drag inside the frame to position it and use zoom to size the subject.
- Click Download PNG to export at the exact preset size. The image is never sent anywhere.
FAQ
Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. Cropping runs entirely in your browser using the Canvas API. Your images are never uploaded, stored, or sent anywhere — they are processed only on your device.
Which platforms and sizes are supported?
Presets for X (Twitter), YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and Discord — profile photos, headers/banners, thumbnails and post sizes. Each preset exports at that platform's recommended pixel size (e.g. X header 1500×500, YouTube thumbnail 1280×720, Instagram square 1080×1080).
Is the output exactly the preset size?
Yes. Regardless of how large the crop frame looks on screen, the download is the exact pixel size of the preset you chose. A smaller crop region is scaled up and a larger one is scaled down to fit.
My subject is too small or too large in the frame — what do I do?
Use the Zoom slider to change the crop frame size: zoom in to make the frame smaller (subject larger), zoom out to include more of the image. Drag inside the frame to reposition it.
What if I want to crop to a free, custom size?
For an arbitrary selection rather than a fixed preset, use the Crop tool. This tool is focused on matching fixed social media sizes. For a circular avatar, see the Round Crop tool.
