drag an image onto the cut
Make the "circle cut" (サークルカット) required when applying to a Japanese doujin event — Comic Market, COMITIA, akaboo (COMIC CITY) online events, and similar — entirely in your browser, on a PC or phone. Sizes follow the digital submission specs: Comic Market is 635×903 px and COMITIA is 638×945 px (frame included). For other events or akaboo (use the official b2-online template), just enter the template's pixel size in the Custom field to build a board at the same dimensions. Load your own illustration or promo image with the Load image button or by dragging it onto the canvas, then scale it with the slider and drag it with the mouse or a finger to position it. You can overlay three text lines — circle name, space number / pen name, and genre / title / a few words — and adjust text color, size, position (top or bottom), and an optional translucent backing band for legibility. Make the text the focus and you get a text-only circle cut, perfect for novel circles that don't draw art. The outer frame line (which is part of the submission) is drawn with one click, and a grayscale checkbox helps for events that require monochrome. A green dashed safe-margin guide is shown in the preview so you can see how far inside to keep text and logos, but it is never drawn on the downloaded PNG. When it's ready, Download PNG saves the image at the exact pixel spec — ready to upload to Circle.ms or the event's application form — and Print outputs the full-size board as a stencil for a paper cut. Loading, placing, lettering, saving, and printing all happen inside your browser (canvas); your image and the text you type are never uploaded, stored, or sent to a server. Always confirm the exact size and any monochrome/color requirements on the official event site (Circle.ms, COMITIA, or b2-online for akaboo).
How to use
- Pick a size (Comiket 635×903 / COMITIA 638×945, or Custom to enter the px from the official template).
- Load your image with the button or by dragging it, scale and move it, then overlay your circle name, space number, and genre (text-only novel cuts work too).
- Set the frame (and grayscale if needed), then Download PNG (exact px, no guides — ready to submit) or Print. Your image and text are never uploaded.
FAQ
Is the image I load or the text I type sent to a server?
No. Loading, positioning, lettering, saving, and printing all run entirely inside your browser (canvas). Your image and typed text are never uploaded, stored, or sent to a server.
Which sizes are supported, and what about events other than Comiket / COMITIA?
Presets cover the digital submission specs for Comic Market (635×903 px) and COMITIA (638×945 px). For akaboo (COMIC CITY) and other events, enter the width × height in pixels from the official template into the Custom field to build a board at the same size. Always confirm the exact spec on the official event site.
Can a novel circle that doesn't draw art use this?
Yes. Skip the image and use just a background color with your circle name, title, and a few words to make a text-focused circle cut. Adjust the text size, color, and position to get a layout that communicates your new book and genre.
Does it support events that require monochrome (grayscale)?
Check Grayscale to convert both the image and text to black and white on export. Some events require strict 1-bit monochrome, so confirm the exact color/tone requirements on the official event site.
Does the downloaded PNG include the guide lines?
The green dashed safe-margin guide is shown only in the preview and is never drawn on the downloaded PNG. The outer frame line is part of the submission, so turning Frame on draws it on the saved image too.
