Add images, then pick a layout. They fill the slots in this order.
Pick two or more images and merge them into a single picture using a layout template: side by side, stacked top to bottom, or a three-panel layout (one big panel plus two small). Great for before/after comparisons, product shots, and social layouts. Choose the gap, background color, and how each image fits its panel (contain or cover), then download a PNG. Nothing is uploaded — every step runs locally on the canvas.
How to use
- Drop images in, click to choose, or paste (Ctrl/Cmd + V). You can add several at once.
- Pick a layout (side by side / stacked / big + 2), reorder if needed, and adjust size, gap, background and fit.
- Click Download PNG to save the merged image. The originals are never sent anywhere.
FAQ
Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. Merging runs entirely in your browser using the Canvas API. Your images are never uploaded, stored, or sent anywhere — they are processed only on your device.
How do I put two images side by side in one picture?
Add two images and choose the "Side by side" layout. Choose "Stacked" to place them top and bottom instead. Reorder with the up/down buttons on each image.
Can I make a three-panel layout (one big + two small)?
Yes. Choose "Big + 2 (right)" or "Big + 2 (below)": the first image goes in the big panel and the next two fill the small panels. Any panel without an image stays as the background.
My images get cropped. How do I keep them whole?
Set Fit to "Contain" so each image fits inside its panel without cropping (with some padding). "Cover" scales each image to fill the panel and crops the overflow.
Can the background be transparent?
Yes. Choose the "—" background to export a PNG with transparent gaps. Solid white or black backgrounds are also available.
What if I want a uniform grid of many images?
For a uniform grid (contact sheet) of many images, use the Image Grid tool. Image Merge is focused on pouring a few images into fixed templates like side-by-side, stacked, or big + two.
