Scrub the preview to check that the subject stays inside the crop throughout the video. The selected rectangle stays fixed for the full clip; there is no automatic tracking. All processing happens locally without uploading your video. Output prefers MP4 and falls back to WebM depending on browser support. Video is re-encoded, and processing time and practical file limits depend on your device's memory and performance.

FAQ
Is my video uploaded?
No. Reading, previewing and exporting happen in your browser. Files and crop coordinates are not persisted.
How is cropping different from trimming or resizing?
Cropping removes parts of the picture. Video Trim shortens a clip in time. Video Resize changes the output resolution or adds padding.
Can I make a vertical video around an off-center subject?
Choose 9:16 and move the rectangle over your subject. It stays fixed for the entire clip, without automatic tracking. Check other scenes with the preview slider.
Is cropping lossless?
No. This tool re-encodes video. The output width and height are adjusted to even pixel values.
What happens to the audio and file format?
Keep audio is enabled by default. If audio cannot be retained, the result includes a warning. Output prefers MP4 and tries WebM when H.264 encoding is unavailable. Input support depends on your browser's codecs.
