The Chinese zodiac here follows the calendar year. By the traditional rule it switches at Risshun (around Feb 4), so people born Jan 1–early Feb may use the previous year's animal. Birth flowers shown are a common monthly pick; they vary by source and by day.

A quick finder that answers "what's my Chinese zodiac?" and "what star sign is this birthday?" at once. Choose a date of birth and it shows four things together: the Chinese zodiac (the 12 animals — Rat, Ox, Tiger…), plus the full 60-cycle sexagenary name (e.g. Bing-Wu) combined with the ten heavenly stems; the Western star sign for that month and day; and the birthstone and birth flower for the birth month. Each result card copies with a click, so it's handy for profiles, fortune-telling prep, and choosing gifts by birthstone or birth flower. Below the result you'll find always-on reference tables: the 12 Chinese zodiac animals with their Japanese readings and recent birth years, and the 12 star signs with their date ranges (Aries 3/21–4/19 …). The Chinese zodiac follows the calendar year here; see the note about the traditional Risshun (early February) cutoff. Everything is computed locally; your date of birth is personal data and is never stored or uploaded.

FAQ

Does the Chinese zodiac switch on Jan 1 or at Risshun?

For simplicity this tool uses the calendar year (Jan 1 cutoff). In traditional Chinese astrology the animal changes at Risshun / Lichun (around Feb 4), so people born between Jan 1 and early February may belong to the previous year's animal under that rule.

Does it show the 60-cycle name (like Bing-Wu)?

Yes. In addition to the 12 animals, the zodiac card shows the sexagenary (60-cycle) name formed with the ten heavenly stems, along with its Japanese reading.

How are cusp dates handled for star signs?

It uses the common date boundaries (e.g. Aries 3/21–4/19). Because the exact boundary can shift by up to a day from year to year, if your birthday falls on a cusp, also check the neighbouring sign.

Why does the birth flower differ from other sites?

Birth flowers vary a lot between sources, and some assign one per day. This tool shows a single representative flower for the birth month.

Is my date of birth stored?

No. Everything is computed in your browser; your date of birth is never stored or uploaded, and it is not kept as a setting either.
