Convert the units you use every day — meters ⇄ feet, kg ⇄ pounds, °C ⇄ °F, km/h ⇄ mph, GB ⇄ MB and more — all on one page. Enter a value, pick its unit, and the value is converted to every other unit in the same category (length, weight, temperature, area, speed or data size) at once, with one-click copy for each result. Handy for overseas-shopping sizes and weights, recipe and drawing units, speed-limit signs while traveling, and estimating file sizes when you wonder "how many meters is that?" or "how many pounds?". Length covers mm–km plus inch/feet/yard/mile/nautical mile; weight covers mg–tonne plus oz/lb/stone; area covers cm²–km² plus a/ha/acre; speed covers m/s, km/h, mph, ft/s and knots; data covers bit/byte and KB–TB (decimal) plus KiB–TiB (binary). Temperature converts °C, °F and K with the correct offsets. Everything is computed locally; your input is never stored or uploaded (only the chosen category is saved on this device).
How to use
- Pick the category at the top (length, weight, temperature, area, speed or data).
- Type a value and choose the unit it is currently in ("From").
- Every unit in that category is shown instantly — copy the row you need.
FAQ
Which units are supported?
Length (mm/cm/m/km/inch/feet/yard/mile/nautical mile), weight (mg/g/kg/tonne/oz/lb/stone), temperature (°C/°F/K), area (cm²/m²/a/ha/km²/ft²/yd²/acre/mi²), speed (m/s, km/h, mph, ft/s, knots) and data size (bit/byte, KB–TB decimal and KiB–TiB binary).
What's the difference between KB and KiB (GB vs GiB)?
KB/MB/GB/TB are decimal prefixes that step by 1000, while KiB/MiB/GiB/TiB are binary prefixes that step by 1024. Storage capacity is usually labeled in decimal (1000-based), while memory and many operating systems report in binary (1024-based), so both are provided.
Can I convert traditional Japanese units like tsubo or shaku?
This tool focuses on common SI and imperial/US units. For the Japanese shaku-kan system (tsubo, tatami, shaku, sun, kan, momme), use the separate "Japanese units converter" (jp-units) tool.
Is my input stored?
No. Conversion runs entirely in your browser; your input is never stored or uploaded. Only the chosen category is saved on this device.
