Tile a text watermark across the entire image. Type your text — a signature, copyright notice (©), social handle, URL, or a label like "DO NOT REPRINT" or "SAMPLE" — and it's repeated diagonally over the whole picture. A single corner watermark can be cropped out in seconds, but a full tiled watermark covers the image so it's much harder to remove, helping deter unauthorized reposting and reuse of illustrations, photos, and work samples. Adjust the angle, spacing (density), opacity, size, and color, and use the live preview to go from a faint all-over wash to a bold, prominent grid. Saves as a PNG (transparency preserved). Nothing is uploaded — every step happens locally on your device (Canvas). If you only need a single mark in one corner, use the "Add Watermark to Image" tool instead.
How to use
- Drop an image in, click to choose a file, or paste an image (Ctrl/Cmd + V).
- Type your watermark text and adjust the angle, spacing, opacity, size, and color. The text is tiled diagonally across the whole image and the preview updates live.
- Click Download PNG to save the tiled-watermark image. The original is never sent anywhere.
FAQ
Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. The watermark is composited entirely in your browser using the Canvas API. Your image is never uploaded, stored, or sent anywhere — it is processed only on your device.
How is this different from a single corner watermark?
This tool is built specifically for a full, repeating watermark: the text is tiled diagonally across the whole image. A single corner watermark is easy to crop out, so a full tiled watermark is the better choice for deterring unauthorized reposting. If you only need one mark in a corner, use the "Add Watermark to Image" tool.
Can I change the density (spacing)?
Yes. The spacing slider controls how densely the text repeats — lower values pack it tighter, higher values spread it out. You can also tune the angle, opacity, size, and color while watching the live preview.
Can I tile a logo (image watermark)?
Currently it supports text watermarks. It's built for tiling a copyright notice (©), a handle, or a URL as text across the image. Compositing an image logo is not supported.
What format does it save as?
The tiled-watermark image is saved as a PNG (transparency preserved). If you need a JPG, save it and then use the Compress or Convert tool to turn the PNG into a JPG.
Does it work on phones?
Yes. It runs entirely in the browser, so you can load an image, add a tiled watermark, and save it on a phone or tablet.
