Rotate PDF pages and save. Rotate a single page or all pages 90° left or right. The rotation is written into the file so it stays when saved, the text stays selectable, and nothing is uploaded.

Rotate the pages of a PDF and save it, completely free. It fixes the common problem of a PDF from a phone or scanner that comes out sideways or upside down — and that won't stay rotated when you turn it in a viewer. Drag and drop a PDF and every page is shown as a thumbnail; use the left and right rotate buttons on each page to turn it in 90° steps. You can rotate just one page, or use "Rotate all left" / "Rotate all right" at the top to turn every page at once. The preview rotates instantly so you can check the result, and "Reset rotation" puts everything back. When you click "Download rotated PDF", a new PDF is saved with the rotation written into the file, so it keeps the correct orientation in any viewer (handy when a PDF won't stay rotated after saving). Unlike a redaction tool, pages are not rasterized, so the text stays selectable, searchable, and copyable. Rendering the pages and applying the rotation happen entirely in your browser with JavaScript (pdf.js / pdf-lib); the PDF is never uploaded, stored, or sent to a server. There's nothing to install and no sign-up, so it's safe for confidential documents. If you want to combine PDFs or delete pages, use PDF Merge / Split; to add page numbers, use Add Page Numbers to PDF; to turn a PDF into images, use PDF to Image.

How to use

  1. Drag and drop a PDF. You can also click to choose a file. Every page is shown as a thumbnail.
  2. Use the rotate buttons (left / right) on each page to turn it in 90° steps. A single page is fine.
  3. Use "Rotate all left" / "Rotate all right" at the top to turn every page at once. Made a mistake? "Reset rotation" puts it back.
  4. Click "Download rotated PDF". The rotation is written into the file so it stays after saving, and your PDF is never sent anywhere.

FAQ

My viewer rotates pages but won't save it. Will this save the rotation?

Yes. Many PDF viewers only rotate the on-screen view, so it reverts when you close the file. This tool writes the rotation into the PDF itself, so after you save it the pages keep the corrected orientation in any viewer. It's made for exactly the "rotate and save" case where the rotation otherwise won't stick.

Can I rotate just one page, or all pages at once?

Both. Each page thumbnail has left and right rotate buttons that turn that page in 90° steps. To set every page the same way, use "Rotate all left" or "Rotate all right" at the top to turn them all together.

Does rotating make the original text unreadable?

No. The tool does not rasterize the pages — it only records the rotation. The original content is preserved, so the text stays selectable, searchable, and copyable after saving.

Is the PDF I load uploaded to a server?

No. Rendering the pages (pdf.js) and applying the rotation (pdf-lib) all run in your browser with JavaScript. The PDF is never uploaded, stored, or sent to a server, and there's nothing to install, so it's safe for confidential documents.

Can I also merge, delete, or number pages?

To combine PDFs or delete pages, use PDF Merge / Split. To add page numbers, use Add Page Numbers to PDF. To turn a PDF into PNG/JPG images, use PDF to Image.
