A flashcard maker that turns a simple list into printable cards you can cut out and study. Write one card per line as "front , back" — or leave the back empty to fill it in by hand. Choose 4 (large), 8 (medium) or 10 (small) cards per page to match how much you want to memorize and how long the text is. Turn on "Also output the back side" and the back sheet is mirrored automatically, so when you run a long-edge (left-bound) double-sided print on a home or convenience-store printer, each answer lands exactly behind its question. Show cut lines to trim the cards cleanly after printing and bind them on a ring like store-bought flashcards. Great for studying vocabulary, exam prep, brain training and learning at home. The card text is never uploaded — everything runs in your browser.
How to use
- Type one card per line as "front , back" (the back can be left empty).
- Pick how many cards per page, choose the back side and cut lines, then press Generate.
- Press Print (or save as PDF). Print double-sided on long-edge binding so fronts and backs line up.
FAQ
Will the fronts and backs line up when I print double-sided?
Yes — when "Also output the back side" is on, the back sheet has its columns mirrored automatically. Set your printer to double-sided, long-edge (left) binding and each card's answer lands right behind its question. It's worth printing one test page first to confirm the orientation.
Can I leave the back (answer) empty?
Yes. Write only the front and leave out everything after the comma, and the card's back will be blank. That's handy when you want to write the answers in by hand after printing.
How do I separate the front and back?
Put a comma between the front and the back on each line. A tab also works, so if you copy from Excel or a spreadsheet you can paste the tab-separated text directly.
Is the card text stored or uploaded?
No. The card text is never sent to a server and is not saved. Everything runs in your browser (only settings like the cards-per-page are stored on your device for next time, and can be cleared with Reset).
