Make a Japanese cover letter / transmittal letter (sofujo) entirely in your browser — the note you attach to documents you send. Built for employees, sales staff, HR and job seekers who want a free cover letter with no sign-up and no Word or Excel template to hunt for. Enter the recipient (company, department, contact name with an honorific), the sender (company, name, address, phone, fax and email), the date, and a subject ("Letter of transmittal"). Add the documents you are enclosing with a quantity per line, and an A4 cover letter is previewed for you. The standard Japanese salutation and closing (haikei / keigu), a seasonal greeting, the body ("please confirm receipt"), and the itemised list heading are filled in by default, so the wording stays correct even if you are unsure how to write one; the greeting can be toggled off in one click. Switch the title between "cover letter" and "fax cover sheet" with one click — the fax mode adds a page-count line (sheets including this one), so it doubles as a fax cover sheet. Use it for the cover letter that goes with a resume or invoice, for an internal document transmittal, or for any business paperwork. Click "Print / Save PDF" to open the print dialog at A4 actual size, then print on a home printer or choose "Save as PDF". No install, no account, and nothing you enter — recipient, sender or document names — is ever uploaded or stored; all layout happens on your device. Invoices, delivery notes and receipts can be made with the matching tools.

  3. Optionally switch the title to "fax cover sheet" and enter the page count, toggle the greeting, then click "Print / Save PDF" to open the A4 actual-size print dialog and print or choose "Save as PDF".

FAQ

Do I need to sign up or install anything?

No. There is no account and no software to install — open the page, fill in the form, and your cover letter is ready. There is no Word or Excel template to hunt for either.

Can I use it as a fax cover sheet?

Yes. Switch the title to "fax cover sheet" in one click and a page-count line (sheets including this one) appears; you can also show the recipient's fax number, so it prints as a fax cover sheet as-is.

What standard wording is included?

The Japanese salutation and closing (haikei / keigu), a seasonal greeting, the body asking the recipient to confirm receipt, and the itemised-list heading are filled in by default. You can edit any of it, and the greeting can be hidden in one click.

Can I use it for the cover letter with a resume or invoice?

Yes. Put "resume", "work history" or "invoice" in the enclosed-documents list and it works as the cover letter for a job application or for business paperwork alike.

Is the recipient or sender stored?

No. All layout happens in your browser; the recipient, sender and document names you enter are never uploaded or stored. Only the title (cover letter / fax cover sheet), greeting visibility and accent-color choices are remembered on this device.
