Align (mm)

Make address labels by pasting your list one recipient per line, then lay them out on standard A4 label sheets (A-one / Avery style, 12, 21, 24, 44 or 65 labels per sheet) to save as an image or print at actual size. Each line becomes one label, and fields are split by comma or tab — so you can copy three columns straight from Excel. The last field is treated as the recipient name and a Japanese suffix (様 / 御中) can be added automatically (or none). A field that looks like a postal code is prefixed with 〒 and normalized to 123-4567. Choose a serif (Mincho) or sans (Gothic) typeface, and text is shrunk automatically to fit each label. Because printers feed paper slightly differently, top/left alignment nudges (in millimetres) let you line the labels up exactly with your sheet. Turn on "repeat one across all" to fill the whole sheet with a single address — handy for return-address labels, with none of the Word mail-merge hassle. The output is a white-background PNG, so you can print at A4 actual size onto label sheets or share it as a file. Nothing you paste is sent to a server or stored (only the style options are kept in your browser). Everything runs locally in your browser.

How to use

  1. Paste recipients one per line as postal code, address, name — separated by comma or tab (copy from Excel works).
  2. Pick the label sheet (12–65 per A4), the suffix, 〒 mark and typeface, and nudge top/left if alignment is off.
  3. Click "Download PNG" or "Print" and print onto label sheets at A4 actual size. Use "repeat one across all" for return labels.

FAQ

How should I format the recipient list?

One recipient per line, with each field separated by a comma or a tab, e.g. "150-0001, 1-2-3 Jingumae Shibuya-ku Tokyo, Taro Yamada". Tab separation means you can copy three columns from Excel and paste directly. The last field is treated as the name (suffix added), and a field that looks like a postal code gets the 〒 mark. You can use any number of fields and split a long address into two.

Which label sheet (count) should I pick?

Match the number of labels on your sheet. Presets cover 12 (86×42mm), 21 (64×38mm), 24 (64×34mm), 44 (48×25mm) and 65 (38×21mm) per A4, matching common A-one and Avery-style A4 label sheets. Pick the same count printed on the package.

The print is slightly off. Can I align it?

Yes. Printers feed paper a little differently, so top/left nudges (in millimetres, negative allowed) let you shift the whole grid to match your label sheet. Run a test print, then move the values by the amount it was off. Always print at actual size (100%, no scaling).

How is this different from Word mail merge? Can I print the same address on every label?

Word mail merge often trips up ("second page not updating", "every label the same"). Here one line = one label with no setup. To fill the whole sheet with one address — like return-address labels — turn on "repeat one across all" and the first record is copied to every label. Nothing you paste is uploaded; it is processed entirely in your browser.
