Paste this into Suno/Udio's “Style of Music” box (Custom mode). Descriptors are in English because the models respond best to English style tags. Nothing is uploaded.

A builder for the “Style of Music” box you fill in when making a track in Suno or Udio — just click tags to assemble the string. Pick from curated descriptor chips across genre (pop, rock, lo-fi hip hop, synthwave, anime, city pop and more), mood (uplifting, chill, epic, melancholic…), vocals (female vocals, male vocals, duet, instrumental…), instruments (piano, electric guitar, synth, 808 bass, strings…) and production/era (lo-fi, 80s, vintage, reverb-heavy…), and you instantly get a comma-separated string like `lo-fi hip hop, chill, female vocals, piano, 90 bpm` that you copy straight into the style box. Descriptors are in English because Suno and Udio respond best to English style tags. From the toolbar you can add a BPM (tempo) and a musical key (such as C minor), and a free-text field lets you mix in your own words. The style box has an approximate character limit, so the tool always shows the descriptor count and character count and warns you when you go over the typical limit. Quick presets — Lo-fi study beats, Epic cinematic, 80s synthwave and more — drop in a proven combination in one click so you can tweak from there. Writing a style box from a blank field is where people stall: which words actually work, what order, will it fit. This tool removes that friction by letting you pick from words that land. It's pure string assembly with no external API or data, so the tags you pick and the words you type are never sent anywhere — everything is processed locally in your browser. It does not generate lyrics or audio (that's what Suno/Udio itself is for).

How to use

  1. Click the genre, mood, vocal, instrument and production chips that match the track you want (click again to deselect). Not sure? Hit a quick preset at the top to drop in a proven combination.
  2. Optionally add a BPM and key from the toolbar, and type your own words (comma-separated) in the custom field. Keep an eye on the descriptor and character counts so you stay under the typical limit.
  3. Copy the comma-separated style string on the right and paste it into the “Style of Music” box in Suno / Udio's Custom mode.

FAQ

Are the tags I pick or words I type sent to a server?

No. The assembly runs entirely in your browser with no external API or data. The tags you pick, the BPM, and any custom words are never uploaded, stored, or sent anywhere — they are processed only on your device.

Why is the output in English?

Suno and Udio respond best to English style tags, so the descriptors this tool outputs (lo-fi hip hop, female vocals, etc.) are in English even if you read the labels in another language. To use words in another language, just type them in the custom field.

What's the character limit?

Suno's style box is roughly 200 characters as a guideline (it varies by model and plan). The tool always shows the descriptor count and character count and warns you when you exceed the guideline, so you avoid an over-long style that the model ignores. Short, focused style tags work best.

Can it write lyrics or the song itself?

No. This tool only assembles the style string you paste into the “Style of Music” box — it does not generate lyrics or audio. Generate the actual track in Suno / Udio itself.

Does a quick preset clear my current selection?

A preset replaces the chip selection with that preset's tags (and sets the BPM). Your custom free-text words are left untouched, so you can use a preset as a base and add your own words on top.

Does this work with Udio or other music AIs?

Yes. Comma-separated English style tags work in Udio and most other music-generation AIs' style fields too. Different tools and models favor slightly different words, so paste the output and tweak from there.
