Create a quick placeholder (dummy) image for mockups, slide decks, email templates and layout testing. Enter a width and height in pixels, pick a background and text color, and you get an image with the size (e.g. "640×480") drawn in the center. You can replace the label with any text, or leave it blank to show the dimensions automatically. The font size scales to the box and long labels shrink to fit the width. Presets cover common sizes like 1280×720, 1200×630 (OGP), square, and banner-ad formats. Export as PNG (solid background) or JPEG. Unlike services such as placeholder.com, nothing is uploaded — the drawing and export run entirely on a canvas in your browser.
How to use
- Enter the width and height in pixels (or pick a preset).
- Choose a background color and text color.
- Optionally type a label (blank shows the dimensions).
- Pick a format (PNG / JPEG) and click Download. Your image is never sent anywhere.
FAQ
Is the image uploaded to a server?
No. Drawing from the dimensions, colors and label and exporting the PNG / JPEG run entirely in your browser using the Canvas API. The generated image is not uploaded, stored, or sent anywhere — everything is processed on your device.
What sizes can I make?
Width and height can each be 1–4096px. Common sizes such as 1280×720, 1920×1080, 1200×630 (OGP), 1080×1080 and banner-ad formats are one click away from the preset menu.
Can I change the label text?
Yes. Type any text in the label field and it's drawn in the center. Leave it blank and the tool shows the dimensions like "640×480". The font size scales to the box, and a long label shrinks to fit the width.
Should I pick PNG or JPEG?
For a solid-color placeholder, PNG keeps the text crisp. If you want a smaller file or a stand-in for a photo, JPEG (92% quality) is also available. Both use a solid (non-transparent) background.
