# = a time-period heading, every other line is a task.

Make a moving checklist organized by when each task is due, choosing a single or family preset, then print or save it on A4. Moving has a lot to remember — giving notice to your landlord, booking the movers, registering your new address, transferring electricity, gas and water, redirecting mail and updating your driver's license, bank and credit cards — so things slip through. This tool lays out common moving tasks under time-period headings such as '1 month before', '2 weeks before', '1 week before', 'moving day' and 'within 2 weeks after', already filled in for you on an A4 sheet. Each heading is an accent-colored bar and every task has a checkbox, so you can print it, stick it up and tick tasks off by hand. You can freely edit and add items: any line that starts with '#' becomes a time-period heading, and every other line becomes a task. Choose 1 or 2 columns, a serif or sans typeface and the heading color; these style choices are remembered next time, while the text you type is never stored. The output is a white-background PNG, so you can print it at A4 actual size at home or a print shop, share it with your family, or paste it as an image into a spreadsheet or message. Nothing you type is sent to a server or stored (only the style options are kept in your browser). Everything runs locally in your browser.

How to use

  1. Pick the 'Single' or 'Family' preset to fill in tasks grouped by time period (edit or add lines as needed; a line starting with # is a heading).
  2. Choose 1 or 2 columns, the typeface and the heading color, and check the A4 preview fits.
  3. Click "Download PNG" or "Print" and print at A4 actual size to post up or share.

FAQ

Can I edit the tasks myself?

Yes. Choosing a preset (Single or Family) fills in tasks grouped by time period, but you can freely add, delete and reorder lines in the text box. A line that starts with '#' becomes a time-period heading (e.g. '# 2 weeks before') and every other line becomes a task with a checkbox. Adjust it to your situation — remove tasks you don't need or add your own steps.

Does it include address-change and utility steps?

Yes. It lists registering your new address, transferring electricity, gas and water, redirecting mail, and updating your driver's license, bank, credit cards and phone, grouped by time period. The Family preset also adds child-benefit and medical-subsidy updates, school/daycare enrollment and pet registration. These are general reminders, so also check the guidance from your local authority and providers.

What if it doesn't all fit on one sheet?

Set columns to 2 and items fill the left column top-to-bottom, then the right column, fitting more on one A4 sheet. The preview shows 'drawn / total tasks' so you can see whether anything doesn't fit. If there's a lot, use 2 columns or split it by time period across two printed sheets.

Is what I type uploaded? How do I print it?

No upload. The title and tasks are processed entirely in your browser and never sent to a server; only style options like columns, typeface and color are saved. The output is a white-background PNG, so you can print it at A4 actual size at home or a print shop, share it with your family, or paste it as an image into a spreadsheet, message or email.
