A picker for the symbols your keyboard doesn't have a key for — copy them and paste them instantly. Browse characters grouped into categories: arrows (→ ⇒ ↗), math (± × ÷ ≠ ≤ ∞ √ ∑ π), currency (¥ $ € £), punctuation (— … § ¶ “” « »), brackets (「」『』【】〈〉), symbols & marks (★ ☆ ♪ ♡ ✓ ○ ■), Greek letters (α β γ Σ Ω), circled numbers (① ② Ⅰ), units (℃ ㎜ ㎏ ㎡ №) and fractions / superscripts (½ ⅓ ¼ ² ³). Click any one to copy it to your clipboard. A keyword filter ("arrow", "yen", "star", …) helps you zero in fast. Paste anywhere you can type text: Word, Excel, email, X (formerly Twitter), blogs and more. All symbols are bundled with the tool, so there's no download and no call to any external service. What you click and type is never uploaded, stored, or transmitted — copying happens entirely on your device. Saves you from opening a character map or searching "special characters list".
How to use
- Pick a category (arrows, math, currency, brackets, units, and so on).
- Optionally type a keyword in the filter (arrow, yen, star, …) to narrow the list.
- Click the character you want — it's copied, ready to paste wherever you like.
FAQ
Are the characters I copy or my keywords sent to a server?
No. The symbols are bundled with the tool and everything — display and copying — runs in your browser. What you click and the keywords you type are not uploaded, stored, or transmitted.
Clicking doesn't copy anything.
It uses the browser's clipboard feature. Copying can fail on older browsers, over an insecure (non-https) connection, or when clipboard permission is blocked. If so, select the character directly and copy it manually.
Some characters show as boxes when I paste.
A character can appear as a box if the destination's font doesn't include it (especially platform-dependent characters like ㎡ or ㊙). The text itself isn't broken and will render correctly with a supporting font. For important documents, prefer widely supported characters.
Are there more symbols available?
It ships with a curated set of popular symbols organized by category. Use the keyword filter to quickly find the one you're after.
