A maker for the lower third — the name-and-title graphic that sits along the bottom of a video (interviews, YouTube, streams, news) — exported as a PNG with a transparent background. Type a name and, if you want, a title or subtitle (role, handle, organization), and the graphic is drawn across the lower third of the frame. Choose from three styles: "bar" is the classic rounded bar with an accent stripe on the left holding the name and title together, "news" stacks a bold name bar over an offset accent-colored title strip like a TV news caption, and "minimal" drops the filled bar entirely for a thin accent line plus drop-shadowed text. Set the output size — 1920×1080 (Full HD, 16:9), 1280×720 (HD) or 1080×1080 (square, for shorts/reels) — and align the graphic left, center or right. Bar, gradient-end, text and accent colors are each adjustable, and the bar can be a solid color or a left-to-right gradient. There is a drop-shadow option so the text and bar stay readable over busy footage, and you can pick a sans or serif font. When it looks right, press Save PNG (transparent) and you get a PNG that is empty except for the lower third — drop it onto an overlay track in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, Final Cut or any editor and it sits on top of your video. Your name and title are never sent to a server — everything runs in your browser (only settings like style, size, position and colors are stored on your device for next time and can be cleared with Reset).
How to use
- Type a name and an optional title or subtitle (role, handle).
- Set the style (bar / news / minimal), size, position, colors and font.
- Press Save PNG (transparent) and drop it onto your video's overlay track.
FAQ
Is the background transparent so I can overlay it on video?
Yes. Everything outside the lower third is left transparent in the exported PNG, so you can place it on an overlay (upper) track in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, Final Cut and similar editors and the name bar sits directly over your footage. No solid background is added.
Which size should I pick?
Match the resolution and aspect ratio of the video you're overlaying. For a standard widescreen video use 1920×1080 (Full HD) or the lighter 1280×720 (HD); for vertical or square clips (shorts, reels, TikTok) use 1080×1080. You can also align the graphic left, center or right to suit the shot.
Can I make a news-style lower third?
Yes. Choose the "news" style and you get a bold name bar with an offset accent-colored title strip beneath it, the two-tier look common on TV news. Change the colors to match a channel or show's branding.
Are my name and title uploaded?
No. Your name and title are never sent to a server — everything is processed inside your browser, and the exported PNG is saved only to your device. Only settings like style, size, position and colors are stored locally for next time and can be cleared with Reset.
